Hi everyone, We have a couple of additional external speakers this term joining us to speak at the planning meetings later in April (thank you Dan for inviting them!), and you can find the details below in the schedule. Here's this week's planning meeting, which as usual takes place on Thursday from 2-3pm: *Room: *S6.06 *Speaker:* Amanda Coles *Topic: *Amanda will be doing a live demo of how to run planners using scripts, how to use gnuplot to display results, and generally about how to do evaluation for papers on planning. As this will be an interactive session people should bring with them, a laptop preferably running linux (install a VM using VirtualBox if necessary), or failing that a laptop from which they can ssh (e.g. a MAC would be fine, or as a last resort windows with either cygwin or putty installed). For reference, please find the schedule for this term below. *Please note, if your name is on the list, I will email you two weeks before your turn to remind you, and to get a topic from you.* If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me an email or visit me at my desk (it's the one with a blue rubber duck just opposite S6.11). *Schedule for This Term* *Date* *Room* *Speaker* January 26th S6.06 Daniele Magazzeni (cancelled) February 2nd Fares Alaboud February 9th S3.39 Andrew Coles February 16th *Cancelled* *due* *to* *IJCAI* *deadline** (**good* *luck**!)* February 23rd *S**6.06* Emre Savas *March** 2**nd* *Amanda* *Coles* March 9th Wiktor Piotrowski March 16th Liana Marinescu March 23rd Tanja Daub March 30th Bram Ridder April 6th *TBC* *TBC* April 13th *TBC* *TBC* April 20th *TBC* Andrea Micheli (from Cimatti) April 27th *TBC* Morteza Lahijanian (from Uni of Oxford) See you on Thursday! *Regards,* *Fares Alaboud* PhD Student @ Informatics Planning Group faresalaboud.me -- Regards, Fares Alaboud
